Get the content that brings people in

Who am I?

Howdy! I’m Carolyn!

I’m a Photographer and Videographer based in DC’s Riverfront who works with venues, brands, and artists to create content that grabs attention and gets people through the door.

I got my start in photography at the age of 16 when I did photojournalism for local protests during the March For Our Lives movement. It was there where I how important photography is, not just for documenting, but also for connecting people to places and communities.

While in college at Penn State University, I served as the Media Coordinator for Penn State Club Climbing. Sports photography was incredible to work as I was always chasing that moment. Whether it was an athlete reaching the top of a climb, or the intense emotion of the team, or a small detail that told the story of the day I was always focused on finding the things that people would want to share on social media. This is where I also got my start in shooting events by capturing the heart of our team as we gathered together to celebrate our wins, and our community.

After College though, I ran into a problem:

Everyone wanted me to follow an expectation—to climb a ladder.

Trust the Vision,

Not the Expectation

I still had that creative itch to make my own projects and let my voice be heard. I didn’t want to be stuck climbing a ladder, working for a boss, or waiting my turn for a “shot.” Instead, I wanted to build something for myself.

I took matters—and my camera—into my own hands, and started my business helping DC brands, and venues get the content they need to bring more people into their doors.
